Skip To Stay Fit

Skipping is considered as one the best way to stay fit. Nowadays, skipping is not confined within the school playground. It has been implemented in various fitness sessions of different type of sports such as boxing, football, cricket and also in the gym. Skipping for about ten minutes burns around 70 to 110 kcal.
According to the height and weight of the individual, skipping rope must be selected. As, it is a very strenuous exercise one must start skipping slowly and gradually increase the speed. Skipping must be practised wearing sport shoes and on soft surfaces, especially on fields or jogging tracks. It is not suitable for persons having joint problems.
